Assembly, Installation, Loading, Securement & Safety Instructions

Follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe usage of your MX “Origin”carrier (Origin is what we are calling the original MX which is now discontinued).

You must secure your motorcycle at a minimum of four points, using MX tie-downs or ratchet straps attached to the frame, handlebars, triple clamp, crash bars, rear tire or foot pegs. This is essential for safety and is easily achieved.

Securing your bike from the frame to the main bar into the tow bar receiver is the strongest option, you can also secure from the foot pegs with MX bikes. The front tie down bar provides another set of anchor points to use additional back up straps.

⚠ BEFORE EACH USE

For your safety and to maintain the performance of your carrier, you must complete a visual inspection before every trip:

  • Inspect all components for any signs of wear, fatigue, or damage.
  • Check the main bar in the receiver for cracks, distortion, or metal fatigue.
  • Ensure all nuts, bolts, and fasteners are tight and secure.
  • Inspect all tie-down straps and securing hardware to make sure they are in good condition.

Do not use the carrier if any part appears damaged or compromised.
