RackNRoll Pty Ltd is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information when you use and interact with this website.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to Gravatar which is an integral part of WordPress which is owned by Automattic,  to see if you are using Gravatar.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Commenting

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our website’s online store.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

Who has access to your information via the local website backend?

Members of both our in-house team and some trusted local contractors have access to the information you provide us.
They have access in order to keep the website secure and ensure it is running smoothly to process and despatch orders quickly and to process enquiries and refunds if necessary.
For example, web site administrators and developers as well as our accountants and sometimes our lawyers can access either partial segments, or the full customer related dataset, if necessary to conduct their contribution to our business, that information may include:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it was sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information

Our in-house team members have daily access to this information to help fulfil orders, process refunds, to support our customers and prospective customers.

Email logging providers

When you use this site, several actions (e.g. commenting) trigger the dispatch of emails. They contain information about you associated with your email address. Caching software providers (Litespeed Cache & QUIC.cloud)

This site utilises caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary.
